Thurso Golf Club

Situated at the northern tip of mainland Britain, the parkland at Thurso Golf Club is a challenging yet rewarding course from which to enjoy striking views of the Pentland Firth and Orkney Isles.

Tight fairways are often lined by out of bounds, so accuracy is of paramount importance in achieving a respectable score. Further danger lies within the boundary lines in the shape of the gorse and heather that naturally shape the contours of the course. Few bunkers mean golfers are offered respite from the sand, but a watery grave awaits in the burn which weaves through many holes.

Traditionally warm Highland hospitality is to be found in the comfort of the clubhouse, where staff are always delighted to welcome visitors. From there you can continue to take in the spectacular views of the Pentland Firth and Orkney Isles while reflecting on a thoroughly enjoyable day of golf.
