Ball Position

When playing with the driver you should tee the ball up just inside your left heel.

When you're going through the rest of the clubs in the bag, however, you can bring the ball slightly further back - ideally between the middle of your stance and left heel.

Golf schools will give you handy hints like playing short-ron shots with the ball in the centre of your stance, thus giving more control and backspin.
