Situated just two miles from Dublin city centre, this is the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf while your other half enjoys the lure of the retail and city sights. Established in 1925, the course was originally a nine-hole course and that alone. However, it wasn’t long before the club added further recreational activities, including tennis, snooker, bridge and bowling.

In 1960 the course was extended to 18 holes and in 1976 the clubhouse was extended to include a new dining room and other facilities such as the pro shop. The interesting parkland course has a greens redesign by Patrick Merrigan in 2002, putting a priority on drive placement and second shot value.

The bunkers are strategically located and are traditionally style with typical McKenzian face visibility.

There is also a stream running through the course with comes into play on half of the holes.

The course itself requires a great deal of accuracy and you negotiate the streams waters when you least expect it, making it a test for the mid-to-high handicapper.
