Glasson Golf and Country Club is one of the country's finest golf courses. Glasson successfully hosted a televised European Challenge Tour Tournament in 2007 & 2008, receiving rave reviews from Players, Tour organizers and spectators alike.

The course is the work of legendary Irish golfer Christy O'Connor Jnr. It is an interesting and very challenging parkland course that enjoys quite magnificent panorama. The Irishman once said of his design: "One of the most scenic pieces of land I've ever seen in my life, with the first nine holes overlooking Lough Ree and the second nine Killenure Bay.

There is nothing I've seen that comes close to that." Visitors are welcome but advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
