This club is preparing to host the Junior Solheim Cup in 2011 making this the perfect time to take-in a round. You can be sure the greenstaff will be doing their best to make an impression and as such you’ll probably find this already immaculate parkland course to be one of the best in Ireland.

Challenging and imaginative the lay-out features undulating, shaped fairways and testing greens with a few enticing water hazards, nine of them in total, creeping in every other hole.

At over 7000 yards the course was designed by, former Ryder Cup player Christy O’Connor, and opened in 2006 to challenge even the very best. It’s now maturing nicely and regularly features on the short-list for the finest inland courses in the country.
