Address: Lower Churchtown Road, Milltown, Dublin 14,

Founded in 1907, Milltown is one of the most important clubs in the history of Irish golf. It was the pioneer, at least in this country, of the Open Mixed Foursomes Matchplay event, which has become one of the most popular formats in which to play the game, especially in fund-raising events and society days.

Situated in the Dublin suburbs the course itself is far enough away from the big city to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed countryside ambience that has proved very popular with visitors in the past.

From this position it can also boast magnificent views of the Dublin Mountains that you can now enjoy from the newly refurbished clubhouse, of which all at Milltown are very proud.

Indeed another area of development that is now earning rave reviews is the so-called ‘back field’ which is made up by holes 6,7 and 12-16. Some holes have been lengthened or re-routed, whereas others have benefited from the addition of several bunkers adding to the now more challenging nature of the course as a whole.
