Orginally founded in 1900 Moate Golf Club moved to the present site in 1940 as a 9 hole course. In 1993 it was extended to an 18 hole course. It is set in a gently rolling parkland and presents a wide varity of challenges to both the beginner and the experienced golfer. Moate golf club is noted far and wide for it's hospitality and friendliness of it's members. The new club house built in 1997 provides all the facilities that the golfer of today requires and is well worth a visit.
