Founded in 1990 and situated approximately 10 miles from Naas, Woodlands Golf Club is a fine parkland tract recently extended to 18 holes. In terms of courses nearby it enjoys great company as fellow Green Fee Savers member Knockanally sit only a short drive away.

This course, however, is a long and reasonably testing parkland that offers a variety of shot making. Those who have the ability to shape their shots and boast a good all-round game will fare best. There are a number of demanding holes that require good positioning thanks to various hidden features.

The par fives are long and will test your long iron play. To succeed on the tricky par threes you will have to be accurate from the tee as there are well placed bunkers that are only too happy to provide a temporary home for wayward shots.

The greens are well maintained throughout the year and are relatively fast. All in all, an excellent game of golf can be found here for players of all standards.
