Address: 2 Cushendall Road, Ballycastle, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, BT64 6QP

Situated on the dramatic North Antrim coast, the course at Ballycastle Golf Club offers a stunning panorama comprised of the Causeway Coast and the Glens of Antrim. The 18-hole championship course is a hybrid of parkland and links elements spread diversely across coastal and riverside stretches of holes. It is one of four courses in the area selected to host the annual Causeway Coast Golf Tournament.

The course at Ballycastle opens with a distinctly parkland style riverside stretch. The Margy and Carey rivers provide natural hazards that must be negotiated to prevail with your hopes intact. A feature to look out for on the third hole is the 12th century Bonamargy Abbey. The most memorable hole at Ballycastle is perhaps the par-3 10th. An intimidating tee shot over a steep gully cannot help but distract from the scenic views across the sea to Rathlind Island. Thought relatively short, the course at Ballycastle still provides a solid test of golf. Precise approach play is required to find well protected greens, the undulations of which require deft putting skills to navigate.
