This course is one of County Armagh’s most popular. Established in 1893 it initially consisted of nine holes but to deal with the increasing demand on the course and to further cement its place as one of the best in the region the club extended the lay-out to the full 18 in 1970.

A Frank Pennick design the course has a number of surprises in store for the unsuspecting golfer. There are plenty of doglegs here and throughout a round here accuracy is put at a premium as elements of the woodland surroundings begin to creep into play

It’s a beautiful parkland course that borders the Lurgan Lake, but don’t lose concentration for too long admiring the views, you’ll need to commit your full attention from the first tee if you want to walk off the 18th green with a good scorecard.

Many developments have been undertaken in recent time to enhance the course, as well as the clubhouse, and you’re sure to agree this friendly venue is now the perfect place to enjoy a day’s golf.
