Omagh Golf Club is 1 mile from the centre of Omagh and has in fact been swallowed up by the town. It has an interesting layout as the two sets of nine holes are separated by a road. The lower nine holes runs alongside the Drumragh River giving it some scenic splendour.

Despite the fact that many locals prefer the 19th hole the feature hole of the course would have to be the par 3 17th. It is often commented upon that many a card has gone to the dogs at this hole. It is a narrow hole with little fairway and a large tree protecting the front of the green. Bunkers at the front and back add to the difficulty of this hole. The 5th and 6th holes are two enjoyable dog legs. Strong tee shots are required here to set yourself up for a good score.

After your round you will find a warm welcome at Omagh Golf Club. The bar staff are friendly and you can be sure of some good craic from a cheeky local. There is full catering for visitors and a large function room. In all the homely clubhouse will be a perfect climax to a great day.
