Portadown is a great course and is always
in excellent condition. The courses itself is set on the banks of the River Bann
and it comes into play on a number of occasions. The 6th is a great par three
that requires no more than a pitching wedge over a beautiful man-made lake onto
the green. Indeed, there is very little room for mistakes and simply getting your
ball to stop on the putting surfaces is success in itself. The facilities in the
adjoining clubhouse are second to none. Catering is available to all with the
staff all very friendly.
