Address: Marino Point,  Cobh,  Co. Cork,  Ireland,

Opened in 2009 Cobh is a thriving golf club in Ireland. After gaining affiliation with the GUI and ILGU it shows no signs in slowing down and is going from strength to strength.

Constructed to the highest of standards, the course is an immaculate adventure through the Irish countryside. The tees are exceptional while the greens are completed to USGA standards meaning they are extremely fast and challenging.

The front nine starts off with a gentle tee shot, downhill. Don’t let this fool you though the course definitely toughens up and if your not careful a trip in the rough is almost certain. Hazards apart the most likely distraction is the fantastic views from around the course. If this represents the point at which the course is at its easiest then the tenth is when it reaches its peak, quite literally.

Teeing onto an Island green there is absolutely no room for error as you aim to avoid the water.

It’s a special hole as is the rest of the round and its for this reason that Cobh’s reputation is growing.

In a reputation that the club is taking advantage of and despite its relatively new standing in Irish golf, the course already has tournament pedigree and is seen as an integral part of future golf in Ireland.
