Address: Shanaway Road, Ennis, Co. Clare,

Just two miles from Ennis off the N85 and only 20 minutes from Shannon Airport, Woodstock Golf Club is perfectly situated for visiting golfers. The course, of championship standard, opened in 1993 and was designed by Dr Arthur Spring.

Woodstock is a very pleasant parkland course with a number of natural hazards creating a wonderful test of golf. Dr Arthur Spring claims this excellent layout will be capable of hosting championships, both amateur and professional, in the not too distant future.

There are some quite stunning holes, namely the sixth, seventh and eighth that would suggest Spring's sentiments are certainly not wide of the mark. Plenty of trees have been planted the extensive drainage work programme is finished now in place. On the whole, the course is well maintained throughout the season gets better with age.
