Address: Formaston Park, Aboyne, AB34 5HP

Originally a nine-hole course for the first hundred years of its existence, Aboyne Golf Club was renovated in 1991 to accommodate 18-holes. Encompassing the sprawling Deeside country to the north of the village of Aboyne, the warm nature of the area ensures that all visitors are welcome.

For the golfer Aboyne Loch adds the scenic backdrop to beautiful surroundings as well as providing a tricky hazard on the 9th hole. The climb up the back nine ensures that visitors will get the best views of the Dee Valley.

A small loch awaits the unwary at the 15th and the last four holes are a challenge for even the best golfers. Those who negotiate the first seven holes of a challenging back nine are rewarded with a final long par 3 that completes a superb round of golf.
