Fraserburgh is one of the true links courses left in Scotland. The club was established in 1777 when golf was played on the towns links. It moved to it's present location the philworth links in 1891. Much of the present course was designed in 1922 by James Braid, the first man to win the open 5 times. Set in Scotland's far North-east corner 42 miles North of Aberdeen, Fraserburgh has 27 holes.

A fine 6,300 yard par 70 18 hole course and a 2,300 par 32 nine hole course. The view from the third tee on the main course alone makes the trip to Fraserburgh worthwhile. Looking over the fishing port, the North sea and onto the Joined Villages of Cairnbulg and Inverallochy. Inland Looks across the Buchan Plains and onto Mormond Hill. Fraserburgh is known as a friendly club and any visitor will enjoy their trip to the "Broch".
