Originally a nine-hole course, this hundred-year-old course is spread beside the River Ythan estuary and the coastal Newburgh dunes. After an extension in 1996 Newburgh links has developed into a full 18-hole championship course renowned for its elevated tees and greens that require a varied shot selection.

The originally nine-holes of this traditional links require real accuracy from tee to green if this windy links is to be negotiated with a low score making it the epitome of a Scottish links. With it’s magnificent setting and views Newburgh is noted for the speed and quality of its greens and its excellent playability whatever the weather may bring.

An excellent clubhouse with a range of facilities including bar, dining room and games room mean Newburgh-on-Ythan has the highest reputation for post round entertainment and hospitality. A pro shop with a superb range of equipment and accessories will complete the day with repairs and custom fitting available to all visitors.
