Deer Park Golf and country club is beside
the M8 motorway east of Edinburgh. The fantastic par 72 championship course has
been the venue for the Scottish PGA Championship and was also used as a regional
qualifier for the British open.
At 6668 yards of the back tees the course will test even the competent Golfers
with the two nines identical in length to each other. The off course facilities
are numerous, with a full size snooker table, squash courts and a fitness
centre as well as comfortable bars and a lounge area. If the visitor still has
any energy left there is even a ten-pin bowling area.
