To the south of Fauldhouse in West Lothian’s Braich Valley, Greenburn Golf Club has been in its present location for over 50 years. Built by the membership itself, the club's motto, “Per Nostra Opera” (in English, “by your own endeavours”), epitomises this enterprising spirit.

In recent years the club has extensively improved the drainage of the course. This entailed the clearing and reconstruction of a burn that now has to be negotiated on seven holes. A par-71, at 6,067 yards Greenburn is a tight layout that requires precision from tee to green if one hopes to prevail. A combination of moorland and parkland features, Greenburn’s rolling, undulating fairways reward thoughtful course management. The course is dissected by the famous Caledonia Railway, which though a scenic accompaniment, also presents a hazard as it forms the course boundary.

Visitors are welcome at Greenburn throughout the season. Sure to find a warm welcome within the clubhouse, guests are invited to indulge in the generous selection of drinks and good value food on offer.
