Designed by James Baird, this open parkland originally opened as a nine hole course in 1913. Renowned for the quality of its greens and fairways Kelso offers golfers of all abilities a challenge without being too demanding physically.

After undergoing significant renovation in 1980 Kelso extended to 18 holes as well as moving into the present clubhouse.

Although not physically demanding Kelso does provide some unique challenges to the golfer. The 7th hole named ‘The Stank’ is number one is course stroke index and its easy to see why. With a water hazard at the half way point the decision to play up short or take the risk can be the difference between par and bogey. And with its tricky slopping green the 7th is sure to challenge even the best golfer.
