Lilliardsedge is a new 9-hole course with a variety of holes set in natural surroundings, with every hole providing a different challenge. Fairways have been subtly contoured to bring hazards into play. Bunkers, trees, water hazards and out of bounds will all come into play if you happen to be wayward off the tee. Your positional play from most tees will have a major effect when lining your approach to the green.

The two best holes on the course are the third and the seventh, with the third requiring an accurate tee shot to the left of the wetlands in order to open up the approach to the narrow green. The longer hitters will be able to cut the corner, but will pay with a more difficult angle for the approach. The seventh demands an accurate tee shot as a ditch runs the entire length of the hole on the left, with sand traps guarding the right. A long second shot is now needed to make par.

The golf course is in superb condition making it hard to believe it is so new. Anyone who visits Lilliardsedge is assured of a great round of golf on a very pleasant course surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. After the round visitors can enjoy a few drams in the clubhouse, where the staff are happy to provide a service in keeping with the rest of the facility.
