Pumpherston Golf Club is one of Scotland's newest developments. An additional nine hole course extension has been masterminded, alongside a new clubhouse, practice area and green keeping facilities. Thanks to funding from sportscotland, BP and West Lothian Council, Pumpherston has developed into one of Scotland's most promising layouts. A number of holes stick in the memory, for instance the magnificent views of the Pentland Hills from the second tee.

The short par four sixth is also a favourite, with the green being built around a pond, tightening your approach shot. Recently awarded the Scottish Golf Union's Junior Charter - an accolade given to the most "junior friendly" clubs in Scotland - Pumpherston is fantastic club for children who are perhaps new to the game.
