Address: Heiton, By Kelso, Roxburghshire, TD5 8JZ

Set in over 200 acres of beautiful surroundings, the Roxburghe is the only championship course in the Scottish Borders. Designed by Dave Thomas, one of the world's most renowned golf course designers, it follows the natural contours and features of the Roxburghe Estate. The use of mature woodland to define fairways, the creation of dramatic water hazards including the River Teviot on two holes, the formation of deep challenging bunkers and generous rolling greens all bear the distinct and unique Thomas hallmark.

"The greens are immaculate and the picturesque course is perfect to play for professionals and amateurs. I look forward to playing the Roxburghe whenever I am in the area and hopefully, in the future in tournament golf, because the course would make a superb venue"

Colin Montgomerie

Bunkered Magazine voted the 10th at the Roxburghe as the 10th hole in their ultimate Scottish Golf Course. Jock Mac Vicar commented. "Already the Roxburghe is established as one of Britains best inland courses. Following closely on our listing in Golf World's top 100 courses in Britain and Ireland is the announcement that the Roxburghe will play host to the Charles Church Scottish Seniors Open.
