Founded in 1892, West Lothian Golf Club was originally laid out by Willie Park Jnr as a nine hole course. The course was completely redesigned in 1975 by Fraser Middleton over an area of 148 acres. The new course was opened in 1979.

The course offers superb views over the Firth of Forth. The membership pride themselves on the quality of the greens and fairways which are kept well manicured and maintained. The course is fun to play while retaining its challenge for golfers of all standards. The course has several development plans for the course and the facilities to keep West Lothian Golf Club at the forefront of Scottish Golf.
