Whitekirk Golf & Country Club is a relatively new addition to the host of fantastic golfing venues in East Lothian. Opened in 1995, the Cameron Sinclair design gently undulates as it weaves through gorse covered banks and natural water hazards At 6,526 yards, the par-72 layout (SSS 72) is a refreshing test of power and precision that requires considered course management.

The greens at Whitekirk are built to USGA standards, and are in superb condition year round. From elevated tees, players can enjoy the panorama that takes in East Lothian to Fife. Perhaps the signature hole is the fifth, ‘Cameron's Test’, which at 420 yards is particularly memorable if you are one the few to emerge with a par-4. Both the inward and outward nines return to a clubhouse that is renowned for its warmth and friendliness. Relaxing by the log fire after a brisk winter game is a notable delight. A separate spike bar, accessible from the course, and separate rooms ideal for visiting parties make Whitekirk the ideal venue for visiting individuals and societies alike.
