Langholm Golf Course is a beautiful nine-hole golf course set on the hillside above the town of Langholm. It comprises on par five, two par threes and six par fours as well as a large practice area, nets and practice greens. Once on the course you will be immediately struck by the magnificent views afforded over the town of Langholm itself or north to the Rolling Border Hills and south to the Solway and the 'Lakes' beyond.

The course's feature hole is the short par 4 seventh, only 334 yards but keen to catch out the adventurous. The green is an island affair cut off in front and right by a large ravine, bounded by trees on the left and an out of bounds at the rear. The ideal way to play this hole is an accurate drive down the fairway followed by a short pitching wedge to the centre of the green, easier said than done.

Following a lottery grant and much hard work by the members, the Club now boasts an enlarged and much improved clubhouse complete with both Ladies and Gents shower rooms, locker suites, disabled facilities and kitchen, all of which are open every weekend. Catering for parties and visitors can be organised by prior arrangement with the Clubhouse convenor. Langholm Golf Course, the best 9-hole golf course for miles.
