The Moffat Golf Club was established in 1884 and the present course, designed by Ben Sayers, was opened in 1905. With spectacular views over the town and surrounding hills, the course presents an interesting and varied challenge to members and visitors alike with its natural undulations and many hidden greens with subtle borrows.

Visitors, both individuals and parties, are very welcome every day including weekends and bank holidays. The course is open to visitors from 9am daily subject to some restrictions on tee off times. Bookings can be arranged by telephone on 01683 220020 with the Clubmaster who can tailor special deals for parties of six or more. Clubs and trolleys are also available for hire.

The modernised clubhouse has changing room facilities for visitors with showers etc. The bar is open at 11am and full meals and snacks are available in the lounge or dining room. Visitors may avail themselves of all clubhouse facilities including the large games room which has two full size snooker tables, a pool table, table tennis, darts and TV.
