The course nestles in Monrieth Bay. Warmed by the gulf stream with unparalleled views of Luce Bay, Scares Rocks (now Bird Sanctuaries), Mull of Galloway, Isle of Man and on a very clear day the Mountains of Mourne.

St. Medan's, founded in 1905 is a testing 9 hole course, measuring 2227 yards and offers a challenge to both high and low handicaps. The course is open to visitors every day of the year, there could be restrictions on tee off times due to competitions, matches, etc. Visitors are offered the opportunity to pay and play for 9 holes if desired, although we are sure once you have played the course, you cannot resist a second nine!

From April to October there is a bar and catering service ranging from snacks to dinner in the evening. A new six berth luxury caravan sited beside the clubhouse overlooking the course and splendid sea views is available at extremely competitive rates. Meals (except early breakfast) can be taken in the clubhouse. Friends, young and old return year after year to this most beautiful area of Southern Scotland, why don't you join them?
