A very pleasant 9 hole layout on parkland. A good test of golf to players of all abilities . Set in lush parkland just half a mile from Wigtown center, the course is a haven for those seeking relaxing golf and a friendly atmosphere. From the 4th tee there are magnificent views of Wigtown Bay and across the Solway Firth to the Lake District Hills.

During the week it is relatively easy to get on the course. Visitors times are not restricted but it is probably best to phone at the weekends. Recognized golfing societies are welcome as long as previous arrangement's have been made with the club steward. Handicap certificates are not required. Changing and catering facilities for both Ladies and Gents. There is also a bar and normally catering can be provided at all times during the season.
