Part of the Mountain Lakes complex, Castell Heights Golf Club was established in 1982.

The pay and play course lies amongst the rolling hills and woods of the Welsh countryside and is a stones throw away from the fairytale castle of Castell Coch. With a sensational backdrop courtesy of Caerphilly and views so breathtaking you might have to pull up your club for a second just to savour the moment, the club is also just north of the Welsh capital, Cardiff, making it the perfect location for a days outing.

The course itself has been played and enjoyed by golfers of all abilities since it came into existence over 20 years ago and consists of six par-4s, two par-3s and one par-5.

The layout itself is challenging yet does not punish the wayward shot, thus making it ideal for accomplished players and beginners alike. Beautiful mature trees bring character to the course as well as a tough challenge when it comes to hitting off the tee.

The club and complex also offers a great range of facilities, including a challenging 18-hole course called Mountain Lakes, a fantastic bar and lounge, as well as a well-stocked pro shop.
